Educational Qualification: M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech

Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Biological Sciences at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa for an ICMR sponsored research project titled “Design of “smart” scaffolds incorporating nano-bioactive molecules for treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus associated chronic wounds” (No. 5/4/5-19/Diab./2 l-NCD-III).

1. Position: Junior Research Fellow

2. Duration of the project: 3 years

3. Fellowship Amount (Rs.): 31000 pm

4. Qualification: M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Biochemistry/ Nanotechnology or M.Tech/M.E.(Biotechnology/nanotechnology) graduates from reputed University/Institute with First class or equivalent grade. It is desirable that the candidate has qualified NET/GATE. Prior exposure to animal cell culture techniques and/or tissue culture techniques will be an advantage.

5. Accommodation: Hostel accommodation will be provided subject to availability and will be governed by the rules and regulations of the Institute prevailing at the time of joining of the candidate.

Pay Scale: INR 31000(Per Month)
