Note: The number of posts may increase or decrease at the discretion of the department. The monthly remuneration is fixed as per the Job Trainee Policy of the Government of Himachal Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Reservation: Open only to permanent residents of Himachal Pradesh belonging to the Orthopedically Handicapped (OH) category with a permanent disability of 40% or more.
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 45 years as on the last date of application. Upper age relaxation of up to 5 years for eligible categories.
• Essential Qualification:
  • 10+2 from a recognized Board/University.
  • OR Matriculation with a 1 or 2-year ITI Diploma/Certificate in IT Enabled Sectors (ITES).
  • OR 3-year Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or IT from an AICTE-approved Polytechnic.
  • Computer Typing Speed: 30 WPM (English) OR 25 WPM (Hindi).
• Typing Exemption: Candidates with physical deformity preventing typing, as certified by the Medical Board, are exempted from the Skill/Typing Test.
• Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of the customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

There is no written examination. Selection is based purely on the evaluation of documents submitted with the application. Candidates are called for evaluation in a ratio of 1:10 for the first post.

• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
• All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Relevant Qualifications).
• Disability Certificate (40%+) issued by the competent District Medical Board.
• Bona Fide Himachali Certificate issued by SDO(C) / Tehsildar / Naib-Tehsildar.
• Valid Category / Caste Certificate in prescribed format.
• Backward Area / Panchayat Certificate, Landless Certificate, and Non-Employment Certificate.
• BPL Certificate and Annual Income Certificate.
• Widow / Divorced / Destitute / Single Woman or Single Daughter / Orphan Certificate (issued by BDO).
• Training Certificate of at least 6 months related to the post.
• Experience Certificate (up to 5 years in Govt/Semi-Govt organisation) if applicable.
• Two recent self-attested passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof.
