The examination, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission, is scheduled for 1st September 2024, for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in applying for the UPSC National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II) should possess the following educational qualifications and the age limit that are prescribed by the officials.
NDA 2 Notification – Essential Qualifications
- For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
- For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Age Limit
Only unmarried male and female candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 2006 and not later than 1st January 2009 are eligible.
