Kerala Government Holiday 2022: The list of holidays can differ from one state to another depending upon the state and which festivals are prominent in the region. Check here the list of public holidays in Kerala for 2022. Both the central and state governments have declared the calendar of holidays for the central and state government employees.
Kerala, a state on India’s tropical Malabar Coast, has nearly 600km of Arabian Sea shoreline. It’s known for its palm-lined beaches and backwaters, a network of canals. Inland are the Western Ghats, mountains whose slopes support tea, coffee and spice plantations as well as wildlife. National parks like Eravikulam and Periyar, plus Wayanad and other sanctuaries, are home to elephants, langur monkeys and tigers.
India celebrates three national holidays every year; in January, we celebrate Republic Day to honour the creation of our constitution. Independence Day is celebrated in August to honour freedom from the United Kingdom. Finally, Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated in October.
