About Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial Hospital (BJRM)
Health care is the prime responsibility of the state and it is the obligation of the Government to provide highest level of health care to the public. BJRM Hospital is a 150 bedded secondary level hospital that came up in the year 1992-93 to cater to the health needs of economically weaker section of the society. Now 139 beds are in general ward,11 beds in Emergency Ward, 03 observation bed in Emergency Deptt.. Over a period of time not only the population in the surrounding areas, but also the demand of health care has increased tremendously. The Hospital is thriving hard to provide health care services to all the patients best suited to their needs despite the constraints of manpower, space and logistic support. The hospital is continuously catering to a substantial poor population (Approx. 40 lacs) of nearby resettlement colonies and new Clusters of this densely populated part of the North District of Delhi.
