Available Positions

The following positions are available for recruitment in the KSPC:

The details of each position are as follows:

Pharmacist

The Pharmacist position requires the candidate to:

• Dispense medicines as per the prescription
• Maintain the inventory of medicines and supplies
• Assist the patients with their queries and concerns
• Keep the pharmacy premises clean and hygienic

Clerk

The Clerk position requires the candidate to:

• Assist the senior staff with their administrative tasks
• Maintain the records and files of the council
• Handle the incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Coordinate with the other departments and agencies as required

Typist

The Typist position requires the candidate to:

• Type the documents and reports as per the instructions
• Maintain the data and records in the electronic format
• Assist the senior staff with their typing tasks

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for any of the above positions, the candidate must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualification

• Pharmacist: Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
• Clerk: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university
• Typist: SSLC or equivalent qualification with Typewriting (English) KGTE or MGTE or equivalent

Age Limit

• Pharmacist: Not more than 40 years
• Clerk: Not more than 36 years
• Typist: Not more than 36 years

Work Experience

• Pharmacist: 2 years of experience as a registered Pharmacist
• Clerk: Not required
• Typist: Not required

Selection Process

The selection process for the above positions will consist of the following stages:

1. Written Test
2. Skill Test
3. Personal Interview

The candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for the skill test. The skill test will assess the candidate’s proficiency in the relevant job-related skills, such as typing speed, data entry, or dispensing medicines. The candidates who clear the skill test will be called for the personal interview. The final selection will be based on the performance of the candidates in all three stages.
