About NIT Uttarakhand
Established in 2009 under the Act of Parliament by the Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralaya), NITUK is the Technical Education Hub in the Green and Clean lap of the Himalayas, precisely located in the Land of the Gods (known as Dev Bhoomi), the state of Uttarakhand. With a peaceful and serene atmosphere that environs the institute, the students are motivated to achieve academic and technical excellence in the streams of their choice.
