- Marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by qualified candidates will not be considered for the final merit.
- The Main Examination will admit candidates, with the number not exceeding 12 times the total vacancies.
- The Commission will identify candidates qualified for the Civil Services (Main) Examination based on achieving a minimum of 33% in General Studies Paper-II and attaining the total qualifying marks in General Studies Paper-I.
- Negative marking is applicable for incorrect answers, resulting in the deduction of one-third (0.33) of the assigned marks for each wrong response.
- Providing multiple answers, even if one is correct, incurs the same penalty.
- No penalty is imposed for unanswered questions.
