About Punjab Ex-servicemen Corporation (PESCO)
Punjab Ex-Servicemen Corporation (PESCO) is a Punjab Govt Undertaking established under Punjab Act No. 33 of 1978, which received consent of President of India on 10 Oct 1978. It works towards welfare of ex-servicemen, war widow, disabled service personnel and their dependents.
On an average 6500 Ex-servicemen at a young age of 35 to 45 years retire from service annually and settle down in their domicile districts within Punjab. They are a highly trained, skilled, disciplined, active, dedicated and committed work force, that has adequate active life. Values of courage, loyalty, integrity, motivation and reliability are imbibed in these individuals as inherent traits during service. PESCO assists these ex-servicemen to work near their homes and utilize their vast experiences in providing state of art services to various institutes of Punjab Govt and also to corporate sectors.
