Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit: The minimum age for most positions is 18 years, and the maximum age varies based on the position and category (general, SC/ST, OBC).
- Educational Qualifications: For Constable positions, candidates must have passed the 10th standard from a recognized board. For SI positions, a graduation degree is required.
Selection Process:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): The first stage of the selection process is a CBT that tests candidates’ knowledge in areas such as General Awareness, Arithmetic, and General Intelligence & Reasoning.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who qualify in the CBT undergo a PET that includes tasks like running, long jump, and high jump.
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates’ physical measurements such as height and chest size are checked to ensure they meet the prescribed standards.
- Document Verification: Candidates who clear the PET and PMT are called for document verification.
- Medical Examination: Finally, candidates undergo a medical examination to ensure they are fit for the job.
