Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

Officer Scale-I

• Age: Between 18 and 30 years
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Proficiency in the local language (Tamil)

Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer)

• Age: Between 21 and 32 years
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks
• Two years of experience as an officer in a bank or financial institution

Officer Scale-II (Information Technology)

• Age: Between 21 and 32 years
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology with a minimum of 50% marks
• One year of experience in the relevant field

Officer Scale-II (Chartered Accountant)

• Age: Between 21 and 32 years
• Educational Qualification: Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
• One year of experience as a CA

Officer Scale-II (Law Officer)

• Age: Between 21 and 32 years
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law or its equivalent
• Two years of experience as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions

Officer Scale-III

• Age: Between 21 and 40 years
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks
• Five years of experience as an officer in a bank or financial institution

Selection Process

The selection process for TNGB recruitment involves two stages:

The first stage is the online preliminary examination, which will be conducted for all positions except Officer Scale-II (Specialist Cadre). The examination will consist of objective-type questions covering English language, reasoning, and quantitative aptitude.
