The Candidates send the filled application form in the prescribed format which can be downloaded from websites www.echs.gov.in, www.icmr.nic.in along with self-attested copies of all credentials in support of educational qualifications, age, caste/community, Aadhar Card and affixing a colour passport size photograph to send by email: [email protected]. The last date for receiving applications is upto 23.01.2024 by 4.00 p.m. The date of Walk in interview/online interview will be intimated to the eligible/shortlisted candidates by e-mail.

About Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS)
The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) is a comprehensive medicare scheme introduced by the Government of India to provide quality healthcare to ex-servicemen pensioners and their dependents. The scheme was launched in April 2003 and is managed by the existing infrastructure of the Armed Forces to minimize administrative expenditure. The ECHS provides medical care to all ex-servicemen pensioners, including disability and family pensioners, and their dependents, which includes spouse, legitimate children, and wholly dependent parents.
The ECHS has several advantages, including no age or medical condition bar for becoming a member, lifetime contribution ranging from Rs 1800 to Rs 18000, no monetary ceiling on treatment, indoor/outdoor treatment, tests, and medicines, a country-wide network of ECHS polyclinics, and a familiar environment and sense of belongingness. The scheme is financed by the Government of India, and the contribution rates of new retirees are under upward revision.
