About Hotel Corporation of India (HCI)

Hotel Corporation of India was incorporated in the year 1971 as a subsidiary of Air India Limited. Effective 11.01.2022, post disinvestment of Air India Limited by Government of India, the Company is a subsidiary of AI Assets Holding Limited. HCI operates two Hotels, in Delhi & Srinagar, under the ‘Centaur’ brand.

The Centaur Hotel, Delhi is located in the vicinity of IGI Airport and situated close to the business districts of Aerocity and Gurugram. The hotel was inaugurated in the year 1982. Centaur Lake View Hotel, Srinagar is located on the banks of Dal Lake, offering splendid and picturesque views of Zabarwan hills. The hotel was inaugurated in the year 1984.

HCI also operates two flight Kitchens under the “Chefair” brand. Chefair Mumbai started operations in the year 1969 (by Air India Ltd. and transferred to HCI in 1971) while Chefair Delhi was established in 1971.
Chefair, New Delhi, an ISO certified air catering unit, caters flights ex- Delhi and also operates the International and Domestic Lounges at T3, IGI Airport for Air India. The Authorised Share Capital of the Company is Rs.150.00 Crores (Paid up – Rs.137.60 Crores).
