Jamshedpur is the largest city in Jharkhand. It is a major industrial zone in eastern India. Main industries are iron and steel, truck manufacturing, tinplate production, cement. The largest factory, Tata Steel is located here. Other major industries are Tata Motors, Telcon, Tata Cummins Ltd, Lafarge Cement, Tata Tinplate, TRF Limited, Praxair, and Brin's Oxygen Company (BOC). Major educational institutions in the city are - XLRI (Xavier Labor Relations Institute), Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, National Institute of Technology. It’s known for huge, tree-lined Jubilee Park, where the Tata Steel Zoological Park has resident species including tigers and leopards. To the east, the hilltop Bhuvaneshwari Temple has an elaborate 5-story entrance tower. North of the city, elephants roam through the forests at Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary.
