Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Narayangaon established on 1st June 2010 for the 6 Tahsil in Pune district i.e. Junnar, Ambegaon, Khed, Shirur, Maval, and Mulashi for implementing various agricultural activities as per the needs of farmers of different localities. KVK also function in a various crop production technical training, crop demonstrations and on-farm trials and organizes training to the rural youth for self-employment and working as an extension functions for a new agricultural production Technologies. KVKs activities are being focused on increasing the crop production levels of local farmers. KVK also providing various Inputs and services to farmers such as Soil / Water/ Plant / Fertilizers testing /Bio-Fertilizers and bio-pesticides, Vermicompost, Vermiwash at a reasonable rate. These Tahsil having different Cropping Pattern and which includes crops like Sugarcane, Paddy, Jowar, Bajra, Gram, Soybean, Groundnut, Vegetables, Tomato, Cabbage, Cauliflower etc. fruits (Grapes, Pomegranate, Banana, Mango) & so many other crops.
