The High Court of Himachal Pradesh has released a notification for the recruitment of 388 Group-C and Group-D vacancies including Stenographer Grade-III, Clerk, Driver, Peon, Orderly, Chowkidar, Safai Karamchari, and other support staff in the District Judiciary. Note: Candidates must have knowledge of customs and dialects of Himachal Pradesh. For Group-C posts, candidates must have passed Matriculation/10+2/Graduation from a school/institution situated within Himachal Pradesh (except Bonafide Himachalis).
Educational Qualification:Post-specific as detailed in the eligibility table. Qualifications must be from a recognized Board/University. For Group-C, the qualifying exam should be from an institution within Himachal Pradesh (except for Bonafide Himachalis).
Age Limit:Minimum 18 years and Maximum 45 years for UR/EWS candidates as on 01.01.2026. Relaxation: 50 years for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates of Himachal Pradesh and HP Government Employees.
Application Fee (Non-Refundable): UR: ₹450 (inclusive of GST); SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PH of HP: ₹300 (inclusive of GST). Fee must be paid online through the payment gateway.
Selection Procedure: Selection varies by post. It includes Screening Test, Proficiency Test (Stenography/Typing/Driving), Written Test, and/or Document Verification as per the R&P Rules, 2022.
