KPRB Exam Pattern
Kolkata Police Exam Pattern :
- Written Test will have objective type questions.
- Exam is of 90 Marks.
- Duration of the exam is 1 hour.
- 25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Hiring process for Kolkata Police Recruitment:
Selection procedure for Kolkata Police Constable Jobs is based on presentation in following rounds.
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Written Test
- Medical Examination
- Verification of Character and Antecedents
- Interview
Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
- Photograph and Finger Print will be taken through webcam/biometric device when the candidates appear for Physical Measurement.
- After that Physical Measurement is taken through Digital Measurement Device.
- Chest Measurement taken for only those candidates, who will qualify in the Height and Weight Measurement.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Aspirants qualifying in Physical Measurement will be considered for Physical Efficiency Test.
- Timing of individual runner taken with the help of Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID).
Written Test:
- Aspirants who qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test, will be considered for ‘Written Test.’
- It consists of objective type questions on Current Affairs, General Knowledge, General English, Elementary Mathematics and Analytical Aptitude in multiple choice answer system.
Medical Examination:
Provisionally selected candidates will have to undergo a medical examination at the Hospital, designated by Govt. of West Bengal.
Verification of Character and Antecedents:
Shortlisted candidates need to fill up and submit ‘Verification Roll’ which will be thoroughly enquired into by concerned committee.
Interview:
Those who qualify in the Written Test further considered for Interview.

- Make Subject-wise planning and Pay attention to all topics as mentioned in syllabus.
- Develop habit of solving past years’ papers. It will give idea about exam pattern also.
- Develop a clear thinking process so that the moment you see a question, you recap how to solve it in minimum time.
- You should schedule your time in such a way that you also have to devote your time to proper Revision.
