NMRCL Exam Pattern:

• Paper I:

Paper I follows negative marking scheme on objective type basis questions that is 1/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. It will be in both languages that is Hindi and English. Questions will be asked from General Awareness, Logical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and/ knowledge of the discipline/trade topics. There will be total 120 questions of equal marks. Duration of exam is 1.5 hours.

• Paper-II:

Paper II also follows negative marking scheme that is 0.25 marks will be deducted fro every wrong answer. That’s why candidates are advised to attempt only those questions about which they are sure. Questions will be asked from General English topic. There will be total 60 questions of equal marks. Duration of exam is 45 minutes.
