SBI PO Exam Pattern

Phase-1: SBI PO Preliminary Examination

SBI PO Prelims is an online exam where candidates have to attempt the question paper in one hour for 100 marks. The test comprises 3 sections and candidates need to clear the overall cut-off only.

Phase-2: SBI PO Mains Exam

This paper has 155 questions that have to be answered in 3 hours. The paper is divided into 4 sections – Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, and English Language.

 Phase-3: Group Exercise & Interview

The aggregate marks of all the candidates qualifying both the Objective Tests and Descriptive Test will be arranged in descending order in each category. The decided number of candidates in each category, as governed by the Bank will be called for Group Exercises and Interview. The qualifying marks in Group Exercises & Interview will be as decided by the Bank. Group exercises account for 20 marks while Interview is for 30 marks.

Final Score Calculation for SBI PO Exam:

There are three major sections on which a candidate needs a complete command to scale high in the Preliminary Round of the SBI PO Exam. They are Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. These three broad subjects are further subdivided into multiple subheadings.
