Note: This is a contractual appointment carrying no right to permanent appointment with the Government of Maharashtra or the University.
Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Young Professional-I: Degree in the Agricultural Science branch from a recognised university.
- Preference Criteria: Preference will be given to holders of the highest educational qualification (like M.Sc) and relevant experience in Biological Pest Control.
- Other Conditions:
- Candidate must work full-time for the scheme/laboratory and cannot take any other job during the appointment.
- Daily attendance at the scheme office under the Head, Entomology Department is mandatory.
- A No Objection Certificate must be obtained from the Head of the Department before applying for any other post while appointed here.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Screening of Applications: Initial scrutiny of applications based on qualifications and experience.
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
- Document Verification: Original documents will be verified at the time of the interview.
Important: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The post is purely temporary for an initial period of 11 months and can be terminated with 24 hours' notice for negligence or misconduct.
