Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- For Civil Engineering Posts:
Degree or AMIE in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution.
OR
Diploma in Civil Engineering (min 3-year course) with at least 5 years of service as SO Grade-I (or equivalent regular post). - For Electrical Engineering Posts:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution.
OR
Diploma in Electrical Engineering (min 3-year course) with at least 5 years of service as SO Grade-I (or equivalent regular post).
Age Limit & Relaxation
Age Limit (as on 01-07-2026): Candidates must be between 21 to 38 years of age.
Age Relaxation:
- Government Servants (Manipur Govt): Relaxation to the extent of continuous service put in the post/service.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PWD: 10 years
Note: No age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates in cases where no posts are reserved for these categories.

General Instructions
- Residency: Candidates must be permanent residents of Manipur. Candidates whose parents/ancestors are permanent residents with documentary proof (Electoral Roll, Birth Certificate) are also eligible.
- Language: Must be able to speak Manipuri, Meitei/Meetei Lon, or any Tribal Dialect of Manipur.
- Citizenship: Must be a Citizen of India.
- Document Proof: All certificates must be possessed by the closing date (28/02/2026).
- Disability: Candidates with not less than 40% disability are eligible for reservation benefits. A valid disability certificate from competent authority is required.
