Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Professor of Practice

  • Essential: Eminent persons from industry or R&D organizations with minimum 15 years of technical, managerial or professional experience. At least a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's degree in Engineering/Sciences/Humanities/Management/Education or related fields. Retired persons from industry/R&D organizations will be considered. Posts are not open for those in teaching profession.
  • Desirable: Ph.D. is desirable but not essential. Candidates demonstrating ability to devote full-time service will be preferred. Highly acclaimed, motivated and dynamic industry personnel/academicians/professionals with excellent experience/research background, commitment and passion for quality teaching and potential for cutting-edge research.

Selection Process

The Screening Committee shall review the applications from time to time. Candidates demonstrating ability to devote full-time service shall be accorded preference.
