Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Project Scientist & Senior Project Scientist: Requires M.E./M.Tech. or Ph.D. in relevant specialization (RF/Microwave, Electronics, ECE) with 55% marks. Experience: 2-4 years.
- Project Engineer: B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, or M.Sc. with 55% marks. Freshers eligible. Experience generally not required.
- Senior Project Engineer: B.E./B.Tech. + 3 years experience, OR M.E./M.Tech./Ph.D. without experience.
- Project Fellow: Ph.D. in specific notified research fields (GaN, MRI Physics).
- Project Associate: M.Sc. Physics or B.Tech. Engineering Physics. Freshers eligible.
- Project Scientific Assistant: Diploma in relevant engineering/science branch with 55% marks.
- Project Technical Assistant: ITI National Trade Certificate (NTC) and valid National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Turner, Machinist, or Electrician trades.
- Project Manager: B.E./B.Tech. + MBA/MMS with 3 years post-MBA experience.
- Project Executive: Graduation (B.Com/B.Sc/B.A/BBA) + MBA/MMS. Typing speed 35 WPM required.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection process is category-specific:
- Category A (Engineers/Associates): Written Test (Online/Offline) -> Online Interview -> In-Person Interview. Shortlisting ratio 1:6 (Online) and 1:3 (In-Person).
- Category B (Scientists/Fellows/Managers): Online Interview -> In-Person Interview.
- Category C (Scientific Assistant): Written Test -> In-Person Interview.
- Category D (Technical Assistant): In-Person Interview and/or Skill Test.
Screening Clause: Minimum 50% marks required in written tests. Final merit is based solely on In-Person Interview and/or Skill Test marks.
Travel Allowance: No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in any examination, interview, or skill test.
