Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Qualification: First Class B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical / Mechanical / Metallurgical / Electronic Engineering / Printing Technology / Chemical Engineering / Pulp and Paper Technology from a recognized university.
• Experience:
  • Officers/Executives working in Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Bodies for the post of CGM in SPMCIL on deputation basis:
  • Govt. Officers holding analogous posts on a regular basis in Pay Level 14 (7th CPC Matrix) or PSU Executives in IDA pay scale of ₹120,000 – ₹280,000 (3rd PRC).
  • OR Officers with 3 years of regular service in Govt. in Pay Level 13 (7th CPC).
  • OR PSU Executives having 20 years of post‑qualification experience, out of which 3 years regular service at E‑7 level in the IDA pay scale.
• Age: Maximum 56 years as on 16.11.2026.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. If the number of eligible applicants exceeds 30, a preliminary screening (written test) may be conducted before the interview. Candidates who attend the interview will be reimbursed Economy Class Air Fare upon production of proof/tickets. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview or any other stage.
