Educational Qualification:
Technician: SSC / 10th standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/ State Trade Certificate in Electrician/Wireman trade. (OR) SSC/10th standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 2 years full time experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognized Institution in Electrician/Wireman trade. (OR) SSC/10th standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 3 years of work experience in the Electrician/Wireman trade in a Ministry / Department / Organisation / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Body under Government of India / State / UT.

Technical Assistant: B.Sc. Agriculture/Horticulture or equivalent, with minimum 60% marks and one year experience in relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/Organization. (OR) B.Sc. Agriculture/Horticulture or equivalent , with minimum 60% marks and one year full time professional qualification. (OR) Diploma in Horticulture of at least 3 years full time duration or at least 2 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma course, with minimum 60% marks and experience of two years in the relevant area/field.

Pay Scale:
INR
19900-112400/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 28 Years.

On July 25, 1948, Karaikudi, a hitherto bleak and desolate village in Tamil Nadu, wore a festive look. A mammoth crowd of more than a lakh people gathered to witness the ushering in of a new era in Indian science. It was the day the CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CSIR-CECRI) was founded at Karaikudi. The institute took root in the patriotic fervor of RM. Alagappa Chettiar, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Dr. Shanthi Swarup Bhatnagar. Fast forward five years, on January 14, 1953, the institution became a reality when Dr. S. Radhakrishnan dedicated CSIR-CECRI, the 12th national laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), to the nation.
