Educational Qualification:
Agricultural Field Operator (AFO): Matric with +2 vocational in agriculture related subject/ Diploma in agriculture related subject OR Matric with two years’ of working experience in agricultural field work from reputed organization. And Agriculture farm machinery operation skill certificate from recognized organization.
Young Professional-I (YP-I): B.Sc. in Agriculture / Biotechnology / Environmental Science / Botany. Desirable Qualification: Experience in soil, plant and water analysis work in lab and field experimentation and preparation of scientific/ technical reports/papers, Experience / Knowledge skill.
Young Professional-II (YP-II): Master degree in Agriculture/ Environmental Science/ Life Science/ Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geoinformatics Desirable Qualification: Ph.D. in any disci having knowledge of R software/ Oracle/ .Net/ MATLAB/ python/ Java etc.
Pay Scale:
INR
18000-42000/- Per Month.
Age Limit: Maximum 50 Years.

CRRI research areas in Rice research includes plant breeding and genetics, plant pathology and mycology, entomology, nematology, physiology, biochemistry, blue green algae, food technology
CRRI has two research stations - Central Rainfed Upland Rice Research Station (CRURRS), Hazaribagh, in Jharkhand, and the Regional Rainfed Lowland Rice Research Station (RRLRRS), Gerua, in Assam.
CRRI till date has developed 74 rice varieties.
