Educational Qualification:
Professor: Master's degree in Demography/Population Studies/ Statistics/ Economics/ Mathematics/ Sociology/ Psychology/ Anthropology/ Geography above 55% marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade. Persons with P.G. Degree other than Demography/Population Studies should have completed a minimum one year regular course in Demography/ Population Studies at a recognized institution/ university.
Associate Professor: Master's degree in the Economics with above 55% marks in the aggregate or Equivalent grade. Good academic record with a Ph.D degree in Economics preferably with course work in the concerned discipline / inter disciplinary subject.
Pay Scale:
INR
37400-67700/- Per Month

It was established in the year 1972 by the late Professor V K R V Rao. The Governor of Karnataka is the President of the ISEC Society. ISEC is governed by the Board of Governors consisting of eminent academicians and social scientists elected from among founder / life members and representatives of Government of India, Government of Karnataka and Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).
