NAFED is an organization of marketing cooperatives for agricultural produce in the country. It was founded to promote the trade of agricultural produce and forest resources across India. In 2008, NAFED established National Spot Exchange as a joint venture of Financial Technologies (India) Ltd. (FTIL).
