Sociologist: Candidates Should have Master’s Degree in Sociology, Economics, History, or a related field from a recognized University.
Anthropologist: Candidates Should have Master’s Degree in Anthropology, Sociology, History, or related field from a recognized University.
Geologist: Candidates Should have Master’s Degree in Geology, Physical Science, or related field from a recognized University.
History: Candidates Should have Master’s Degree in History from a recognized University
Mathematics: Candidates Should have Master’s Degree in Mathematics from a recognized University.
Linguist: Candidates Should have Master’s Degree in Language Studies, Sanskrit, or related fields from a recognized University.
Environmental Scientist: Candidates Should have Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from a recognized University.
Hindi: Candidates Should have Master’s Degree in Hindi or related fields from a recognized University.
Sanskrit: Candidates Should have Master’s Degree in Sanskrit or related fields from a recognized University.
Art Expert: Candidates Should have Master’s Degree in Fine Arts, Painting, Visual Arts, or related fields from a recognized University.

The State of Uttarakhand came into existence on 09th November, 2000 under the Reorganisation of Uttar Pradesh Act 2000. The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission was Constituted under the provisions of the Article 315 (1), of the Constitution of India by the Governor of Uttarakhand vide Notification No. 247/1-Karmik-2001 dated 14th March, 2001. The sanctioned strength of the Commission is a Chairman & six Members.
Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) was established on 14th March 2001. Its is located in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. UKPSC is the state agency authorized to conduct the Civil Services Examination for entry-level appointments to the various Civil Services of Uttarakhand.
