Assistant, Fireman and Various Posts

Number of Vacancy: 16 Posts
Educational Qualification:
Assistant (Rajbhasha) - 02 (UR-1, OBC-1):
1. Graduation with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale as declared by any recognised University. The candidate should have completed Graduation within the duration of the course as prescribed by the University.
2. Hindi Typewriting speed @ 25 words per minute on computer.
3. Proficiency in the use of Computers.
Light Vehicle Driver-A - 05 (UR-2, OBC-2, EWS-1):
1. Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std.
2. Must possess valid LVD license.
3. 3 years' experience as Light Vehicle Driver.
Any other requirement of the Motor Vehicle Act of Kerala State should be met within 3 months after the candidate joins the post.
Heavy Vehicle Driver-A - 05 ((UR-3, OBC-2):
1. Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std.
2. Must possess valid HVD license.
3. Must possess valid Public Service Badge.
Fireman-A - 03 (UR):
1. SSLC/SSC Pass.
2. Should satisfy the prescribed Physical Fitness & Physical Efficiency Test Standards.
Cook - 01 (UR):
1. SSLC/SSC Pass.
2. Five year experience in similar capacity (as Cook) in a well established Hotel/Canteen.

19900-81100/- Per Month

Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) is the lead Centre of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) under the Department of Space (DOS), Government of India. The Centre is named in fond memory of Dr Vikram A Sarabhai, the great visionary and the father of Indian Space Programme. VSSC pioneers in rocket research and launch vehicle projects of ISRO. The Centre also pursues research and development activities in associated areas like propellants, solid propulsion technology, aerodynamics, aero structural and aero thermal fields, avionics, polymers and composites, guidance, control & simulation, computer and information, mechanical engineering, aerospace mechanisms, vehicle integration and testing, space ordnance, chemicals and materials. Systems reliability and quality assurance of all aspects of engineering and operations are studied and evaluated to the levels of perfection required in each field. Programme planning and evaluation, technology transfer and industrial coordination, indigenisation, human resources development, safety and personnel and general administration groups support the Centre for all its activities.
Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) was established on 21st November 1963. VSSC headquarters is located in Trivandrum, Kerala. Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre is a major space research centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), which focuses on rocket and space vehicles for India's satellite programme. VSSC works on the development of sounding rockets; Rohini and Menaka launchers; ASLV, PSLV GSLV and the GSLV Mk III.
